The legendary and influential band Mandrill put on a Christmas concert tonight at the El Ray Theater in Los Angeles using my transcriptions and sheet music. They’re one of the most-sampled groups in history, they’re icons of the funk/soul world, and many of their shows are also benefits for music education. I have worked with them several times, and it’s always a pleasure.
